Southwestern and Mexican Photography Series, The Wittliff Collections
Edited by David L. Coleman
This series draws on the renowned archive at The Wittliff Collections at Texas State University. The photography, in both the Series monographs and the Collection itself, ranges from documentary work to impressionistic portfolios from leading artists in both countries. Work in this series reflects the region from intentionally various angles, sometimes illuminating a distinctive subject, sometimes a photographer’s personal story. As such, volumes in this series have included iconic work from international artists such as Graciela Iturbide as well as behind-the-scenes shots from the making of beloved Western miniseries Lonesome Dove. Note: This series is no longer accepting new submissions. Proposals for projects in this field, however, can be sent directly to acquisitions editor Casey Kittrell at ckittrell@utpress.utexas.edu.Showing results 1-6 of 6
